No joke: Kawasaki presents riding e-lions

We know the Kawasaki brand in Europe and Germany, especially in connection with motorcycles. A large Japanese corporation recently presented the world’s first hybrid motorcycle. And there is also a pure electric motorcycle from Kawasaki. Since 2022, Kawasaki has also been associating some people with charl products and concept studies. We think of the excited E-Capehead “RHP bex”. Exactly – it is as crazy as it sounds.
In a similar notch to the RHP bex, Kawasaki now beats “Corleo”. This time, it is not an electrically driven Capricorn but a lion. In a video, we see a man riding with Corleo through rough terrain. The presentation took place with a view of the 13th century. The World Expo 2025 is held in April in Japan’s Osaka World Expo 2025.
According to the Japanese media, the electric animal is about the size of a quad, 1.70 metres long and 1.60 metres high. In contrast to a quad, the unusual vehicle is named after the constellation Leo, but also high steps or rocky outcrops.
The robo-lion should be able to accelerate to a speed of 100 km/h. The drive is a hydrogen-powered fuel cell for the vehicle. However, there are still many questions unanswered around the operation of such a vehicle – and not only those that affect road safety.
Because the video and the information shared by Kawasaki so far do not show whether Corleo has only existed in purely virtual form or exists. Kawasaki is expected to disclose further information to the public as part of the early beginning world exhibition. Further reports from the field of electromobility are reading at this point.
