Rally Arcade Classics, a pleasant middle ground between realism and arcade

Rally Arcade Classics, developed by NETK2GAMES and released for desktop almost a year ago, but for consoles in June 2025, is a racing installment with 44 vintage cars and 48 tracks. It tests the true driving skills of gamers, but without graphic and technical demands as demanding as other video games of this style.

If we had to define it in one sentence it would be: a Forza Motorsport, but more accessible. Its mechanics of movements and gameplay make it challenging, but entertaining at the same time. Something difficult to achieve in this industry, because commonly players, and much more without knowing the game very well, put it aside at the first difficulty.

Regarding its minimum requirements for PC, which were on the platform where we tested it, this delivery requires:

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i3 at 2.9 GHz
  • RAM Memory: 4 GB
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX650
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Internal Storage: 10 GB

Recommended requirements

  • Operating system: Windows 11
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 at 3.6 GHzRAMy: 8 GB
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX970
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Internal Storage: 10 GB

Rally Arcade Classics Review

To tell the truth, the gameplay starts very slowly and we are not talking about FPS or resolution on the screen, but how the action begins. We understand that, as beginner players, at least for the game, we should start with the most limited cars, but too much time is spent with them.

It’s not until we unlock all the C licenses that we can access real competitions and vehicles with the real power to push us to the limit. In our opinion, getting to this part of the video game takes a long time for a proposal that promises speed.

In addition, the customization of the cars is limited, as it is simply based on changing two colors under the same design. We believe that this is one of the details that could have improved the most. It is no secret to anyone that how the car looks is half the experience in these racing titles.

Rally Arcade Classics is what true casual users are looking for

We know that we already mentioned it above, but we cannot fail to mention among the positive elements of Rally Arcade Classics its accessibility. Almost any computer can run its graphics, which, by the way, look great and have realistic movements.

With a price of less than $50,000 on Steam, it promises and delivers good hours of fun, adrenaline and racing. In addition, as if that were not enough, you live a very immersive experience if you play with a console controller. From accelerating to drifting is a worthwhile experience.

To conclude, its massive number of cars and game modes will have you jumping back and forth in the main menu. Rally Arcade Classics is a great option for casual gamers who want to be right in the middle of free mobile titles and the big AAA projects on consoles.
