Logitech’s new professional gaming steering wheel – Feel every vibration

Logitech is a Swiss company that manufactures, designs, and sells computer peripherals (accessories) in the fields of work, content creation, streaming, and gaming. In the latter segment, Logitech G sells hardware for Gaming, mainly professional, such as headphones, keyboards, mice, and even racing wheels.
In the latter category, the company presented in Colombia a new product called RS50 Direct Drive Wheelbase with TRUEFORCE, in addition to a separate RS Pedals pedalboard.
Designed to offer realism, control, and customization for both gamers and professional drivers, this expansion of the modular Racing Series line is made for racers at all levels.
“The RS50 isn’t just hardware, it’s the beating heart of your simulation setup. Whether you’re taking the satellite dish at Monza at full speed or drifting on a rally stage, the level of torque, combined with TRUEFORCE, ensures you feel every detail of traction and every irregularity of the terrain. Combine it with the unmatched control of the RS Pedals, and every run is transformed into an intense and emotional experience,” said Richard Neville, senior product manager for global simulation at Logitech G.
This wheel brings all its users closer to a very realistic connection, capturing every nuance of the circuit thanks to its Direct Drive motor and advanced TRUEFORCE technology. It offers up to eight Nm (Newton meter) of maximum torque, the optimal level determined by professional drivers during their training.
In addition, TRUEFORCE, which translates game physics into real forces with surprising accuracy, immerses the professional or semi-professional gamer or driver in a very realistic experience. From the grip of a worn tire to the tension of a high-speed corner.
For all fans of speed and F1
“Our TRUEFORCE technology was already present in entry-level products, but this new version is an unprecedented improvement. In practical terms, it is like feeling like driving a Formula 1 car and more in terms of the force needed to turn the steering wheel,” Diego León, Logitech G’s country manager for Colombia and Ecuador, told this media.
In that same dialogue, Diego explains that many professional drivers, such as Sebastián Montoya, F2 racer and son of the legendary Juan Pablo Montoya, use this type of product to exercise their hands and arms to simulate strength in real races.
“We are so involved with the big tent of world motorsport that we have been collaborating with McLaren for years,” he concluded. And although the Logitech G country manager for Colombia and Ecuador noted that they are flyers that have not yet arrived in our country, he hopes that the papaya orange of the world champions can be seen on this side of the globe sooner rather than later.
RS50 de Logitech G
Returning to the RS50 steering wheel, it has up to 2,700 degrees of rotation, faithfully replicating real steering dynamics, whether on the track or behind the wheel of a trailer on the open road. And complementing its TRUEFORCE feature, it internally processes real-time game data such as asphalt textures, engine vibrations, and even tire slippage.
It does this up to 4,000 times per second, which means that every bump, ski,d and skid on the track becomes a tangible sensation for the user. Not only for the sim racing (eSports) category racer, but for anyone looking for hyperrealism.
The pedals, unfortunately, are sold separately
The RS Pedals have been designed precisely for this steering wheel. The brake has a load cell of 75 kg and is customizable in travel and resistance. For its part, the throttle with hall effect adapts to desks or cockpits, as well as a third clutch pedal.
It was made of low-carbon aluminum and 74% post-consumer recycled plastic (excluding wiring and packaging). In addition, the RS50 base reduces environmental impact without compromising performance or durability. Racing hardware for the most professional and enthusiastic.
Finally, these two products are expected to be sold separately from September 19, 2025. An opportunity for those who want to enter the world of speed and racing, such as those who have been competing in the financial scene for years.
